To register for disaster assistance, folks can go online to www.disasterassistance.gov or can call: 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). For TTY, call 1-800-462-7585. Those registering for disaster assistance should have the following information available: social security numbers (including spouse), private insurance information if available, address and zip code of damaged property, directions to the damaged home or property, and a telephone number where FEMA can reach the applicant.
