I'm standing in front of the memorial to the Communist liberation of Bratislava and the graves of 7000 Russian soldiers. This is an important part of the history here regarding communist occupation and the end of that regime since the fall of the Iron Curtain. Some here think life was better under communist rule because there was greater equality between classes... 26 political parties now, with 6 in parliament today. Very interesting tour....
